I'm a returning Parallels user. I used it years ago but switched to VMware Fusion when that worked better with my apps. Well the tables have turned and Parallels looks like a better option for me now. My primary app simply performs much better in Parallels now. Anyway, I thought that I was seeing things when I saw little blue lights flashing under my top right menu in single window mode. Unable to discover what they were I reached out to support who, initially, didn't understand what I was talking about. I sent a video of the lights and they responded that they were "activity indicators" and that they could not be turned off or disabled. These things are flat out annoying and for a new user they are simply a mystery. There's nothing on the screen that says what they are and it would be easy for a new user to presume that Parallels was just buggy (I did). Come on guys, if you're going to pollute the screen with blinking lights at least provide some description of what they are and certainly provide a way to turn them off. Frankly, they ought to be off by default. They're simply an annoyance for the average user. Thanks for listening.
Did a google search for this. You're the only one. Thank you. And yes, let's make these things de-activate...able.
Bumping this in hopes that someone will see it. I just installed the trial to test if my department should migrate over to Parallels and the indicators were the first thing I noticed. It's such a small thing but VERY distracting. Please allow us to disable the activity indicators.
