Individual Optimisation Control

Please can an "Advanced" option be added to the Resource utilisation slider to allow individual control over CPU, Disk, Network etc. With almost all macs shippings with SSD the main reason to limit performance is to extend battery life, and the CPU is the main draw on this. It would ideal to be able to reduce CPU performance but leave disk and network throughput as normal.
