I have the same cursor problem. I am on Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.26058.1100 (ge_release). I selected get latest updates as soon as available, then asked Update to check for updates, hoping to get 26063, but it says I am up to date. How can I force an update to 26063? Thanks!

According to MS, build 26063 is available in the Canary Insider channel (builds there are borderline experimental apparently), not in the Dev channel that you're likely on. You can check your current Insider channel here: Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program > Choose your insider settings.
    See this bulletin: https://blogs.windows.com/windows-i...1-insider-preview-build-26063-canary-channel/
It states at the top that: "Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel will not receive this build. Instead, we are releasing servicing updates to Insiders in the Dev Channel on Build 26058".
Also, under Know Issues, a new bullet item states this: "We're investigating reports of mouse cursor issues..."
So, MS seems to be aware of the issue, but it's apparently not fixed yet. As I understand the situation, they're working on it and a fix will eventually be rolled out for our current 26058 build.

I am currently using Windows 11 Insider Preview 26063.1 (ge_release), installed 3/7/2024, and I am still seeing significant offset of the cursor hotpoint in several applications.

Same. I reported it as feedback for the Insider Preview. :(

26080.1 fixed the issues for me!

Sadly, 26080.1 did not fix this issue for me.

The mouse inaccuracy issue you're experiencing after updating to the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview build within your Parallels Desktop virtual machine (VM) is likely due to a compatibility issue with the VM graphics drivers or settings.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the mouse pointer misalignment problem:

    1. Check for Parallels Tools Update Ensure you have the latest version of Parallels Tools installed inside the Windows 11 VM. Sometimes a new Parallels Tools version is required after a major Windows update to resolve compatibility issues.
    2. Adjust VM Graphics Settings In the Parallels Desktop preferences for your VM, try adjusting the graphics settings:
    • Switch between "Automatic" and "Default" graphics modes
    • Disable/Enable 3D acceleration
    • Change the graphics memory allocation
    1. Reinstall Parallels Tools If you've already tried reinstalling Parallels Tools, try removing it completely, reboot the VM, and then reinstall the latest version again.
    2. Reset VM Window Settings Sometimes the VM window scaling or resolution can cause mouse offset issues. Try resetting the window view settings.
    3. Update Parallels Desktop Check if there's a newer version of Parallels Desktop available, as it may include fixes for the Windows 11 preview build compatibility.
    4. Roll Back Windows Build As a last resort, you may need to roll back the Windows 11 Insider build inside the VM to the previous stable version until a fix is available.
This type of mouse offset issue is relatively common when running pre-release Windows builds inside a VM due to graphics driver incompatibilities. Adjusting the VM graphics settings and ensuring you have the latest Parallels Tools installed is usually the first step to resolve it.

If none of these steps work, you may need to report the issue to the Parallels support team for further assistance specific to that Windows 11 Insider build.

This having this issue on 26080 - "optimize for games" solves the problem, but now the cursor is stuck in parallels

I have been experiencing this same problem for a long time. But not in the early Windows 11 Arm builds. It happened with one of the Parallels or Windows updates. I have tried all the suggested fixes none work. This has been going on for a very long time now and is extremely problematic.
