?

Should Parallels allow users to convert their subscriptions to perpetual licences?

    Hi!

I am running Parallels Desktop 19.2.1 on my MacBook Pro (2016), which is no longer supported by either Parallels nor Apple. I have just received a message from Parallels saying that my subscription is going to increase, but this doesn't sit well with me considering that I am not able to run any newer version of Parallels Desktop for Mac, and that my support options are running thin due to running a version of Parallels Desktop that no longer supports Mac OS X Lion as a guest operating system on my Mac running macOS Monterey.

Is there a way to convert my subscription into a perpetual licence so that I can run Parallels Desktop 19 as it currently stands on my Mac? Until I can justify moving on to a new version of macOS, on a new Mac, with full support for ARM from Parallels, Apple and Microsoft (and maybe Ubuntu)... I'm going to have to stay with the setup I have which I know works.

Any comments on my request? They are most welcome! Thanks!

    Hello Tonza,

Unfortunately, converting a subscription into a permanent license is not currently possible.

We would however advise purchasing a new license if need be using the following link:
