Use sparse bundle disk image for macOS vm on M1 Mac

    Would it be possible to use a sparse bundle disk image for macOS 12 vms on an M1 Mac?
    Currently, a macOS vm takes up the full maximum size of the virtual disk and this makes incrementally backing it up with rsync very difficult because the entire vm including empty space must be copied when only a few files have changed.
